There is Encouraging News from Washington Today. But In Case We Are Not Back at Work on Thursday … Here Are Two Volunteer Opportunities
- Wear closed-toe shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty. No flip-flops allowed. Wear clothes that can get dirty, too.
- Bring filled water bottles (we’ll try to have the furlough cooler if someone can bring in from Wednesday’s event in Chapel Hill). A hat, sunscreen and gloves also are recommended. The farm does not provide gloves.
- Bring a signed waiver for each volunteer. Follow this link to get the form. Note: if you volunteered at the Food Shuttle last week, you don’t need to fill out a new waiver.
Please take a minute to read this additional information and policies about working at the farm.
