Tuesday Updates – Evening Edition
What a Tuesday – Great turnout at the Sandy Creek event (follow this link for the Herald-Sun story http://www.heraldsun.com/news/x909262464/Furlough-doesnt-keep-EPA-workers-from-volunteering ). Another great group at the Ronald McDonald House in Durham Tuesday afternoon. And Cheryl and Rick Vetter and a friend from NIEHS jumped in and responded to a plea from the Durham Food Bank for extra hands. You all are amazing.
Some updates for the rest of the week:
- If you’re interested in the Grocery Bagging event on Wednesday, please note that the morning session is full. The afternoon time has changed. It now is 230. Please contact Cheryl Vetter to sign up (info in post below).
- The Thursday Eno River project is full!. Scroll down to see updated info and directions.
- We still need help for the Habitat project on Friday. Don’t worry if you don’t have experience – they will teach us what we need to do.
Thanks for everything all of you have been doing over the past week.
